This site is about human anatomy, or rather
the visualization of human anatomy -
the human body inside and out.

We have painstakingly created virtual 3d geometries
from ct scan data and by studying loads of expensive books
and atlases, and we are in the last stages
of achieveing complete perfection of these geometries -
the goal being to have the computer-usable data
of the "perfect human" 3d replica of an AVERAGE
3d male and female human of good health
at an age of about 30 years.

The final data set of this project will have wbout 7500 parts
(single muscles and bones, parts of blood vessels etc.)
and feature every important part of the human organism
as well as a lot of parts which only interest specialists.

The resulting data set can now be used to render as many
pictures or animations of whatever parts,
viewed from outside and in, and used for scientific research
without carving up any corpses or risking
the lives of living people just to have a look
at their interiors - however the main goal is education.

It is SO much easier to understand human anatomy
and the functions of the human organism/body
by having it on your computer screen,
being able to turn it about and make parts transparent,
actually seeing through the skin,
than learning human anatomy from books
because you can look at any part
from all sides immediately.

Normally, the result, a 3d geometry which can only
be used by computers rather than touched physically,
needs very complex 3d software to be used in,
and very qualified people who are exoerienced
in the use of thes programs (the pure 3d data sets
are meant for exactly such people,
and they can achieve wondrous visual results
from their use, everybody has seen examples
in moviesand television.

If you do not own a complex 3D animation program
and still want to view the human anatomy in 3D,
or use animations of it or pictures at a website,
we now give you the means by either
supplying the vbiewing programs or data sets
which can be used in Adobe Acrobat Reader,
or in the most simple way as bitmap pictures.

If you need any special picture sets
or "moving" pictures( animations) for a special
use like a website or education, all you need do
is email us and describe your needs,
this being "custom work" while the ready-made sets
can be purchased and downloaded from one
of our websites right away.

Compatibility : the picture sets can be used
by anybody who owns a computer, the Acrobat Reader sets
can be used by anybody who downloads (free)
Adobe Acrobat Version 7+ (PC only), AnatomyLab
(which is much more capable especially for
education) can be used by Windows XP users,
and the full 3D data sets for animation software
can be used by anybody who is mentally fit and patient
to use a complex (but free) 3D animation program
like Blender on either Mac or PC.

Some but not all CAD programs will also be able
to import the files, depending on how efficient the software
is (as an example, ProEngineer can while Solidworks cannot).
